& Plant of Oricola
The company headquarters is located in Italy’s Abbruzzo
state, inside the Oricola industrial area. The habitat is mountain,
the factory is located in the Cavaliere tableland, near the Turano
lake, about 600mt u.s.l.; it’s surrounded by mountains which
reach 1800mt of height.
The factory was built in 1999; it represents an advanced technological
application matched in a particular building construction, able
to reach technical and logistic goals and in the meantime able
to integrate it with the architectonic look in the habitat in
which is inserted in.
The factory is build up on a 14.000sqm area, actually is made
of two buildings B02 and B03.
B02 is of about 800sqm is deal on two levels; at the zero level,
400sqm are in a controlled atmosphere; the decontamination level
is differentiating in function of the activity kind. The operative
areas are distinguishable in 5 different decontamination levels
‘till the class 4 ISO 14644-1 (class10 FED-STD 209E).
The area at level 1, is integrated with the production area
and is used for materials

and products incoming-outcoming and for their stocking; the stores
are differentiated to make able to distinguish any stocked materials
and components; i.e. ended products, in-process parts, row materials,
manufacturing account parts, not conform parts, etc. A particular
store is used to stock “classified” products and documents
according to industrial and military Security rules.
B03 is of about 200sqm area on two levels, it’s used or
for auxiliary activities and for climatic tests execution; it
includes a decontaminated room for acceptance tests with our customers.
There’s currently an enlargement for the construction of
three new buildings: B01 for research, develop and design, B04
for high technology machining and B05 for special technology processes.
All the factory resorts sites in the headquarters and in the subsidiary
branches, the machines, the processes and the systems are integrate
in a unique factory computer hierarchical net, accessible also
by authorized clients.
